Handmade Italian Silver Sitting Dog Figurine, Solid Sculpture, 800 Silver, 1970s-1980s

A charming and grounded vintage piece, this Italian handmade figurine depicts a sitting dog crafted in solid silver with a calm, attentive presence. Produced in Arezzo during the 1970s to 1980s, it reflects the strong tradition of Italian silversmithing, where everyday animal subjects are transformed into expressive collectible sculptures.

The seated posture gives the piece balance and quiet character, while the subtle detailing brings life to the form without overworking the design. It has that classic “less is more” Italian approach, where proportion and silhouette do most of the storytelling.

Signed and hallmarked, it carries clear collectible value, especially for those who appreciate authentic vintage animal silverwork with provenance.
