Vintage Italian Handmade Silver Stag Large Figurine by Mario Cerreti Handmade Sculpture

A powerful and sculptural piece, this vintage Italian stag figurine stands out for its presence, scale, and naturalistic detail. Handcrafted in Italy by silversmith Mario Cerreti during the 1960s to 1970s, it reflects a period where animal subjects were interpreted with both artistic sensitivity and respect for realism.

The stag is captured in a poised stance, with elongated legs and finely worked antlers that give the sculpture a sense of quiet strength and elegance. Notably, the antlers are not perfectly symmetrical, a detail that mirrors nature itself and adds authenticity rather than imperfection. This kind of nuance is exactly what separates handcrafted pieces from mass produced objects.

Signed by Cerreti and bearing the appropriate silver marks, it carries strong collectible value, especially for those who appreciate named Italian makers and larger scale miniatures with true sculptural impact.
