Vintage Italian Handmade Genuine Silver Rare LIFE SIZE Mandarin / Clementine Ornament for Christmas Trees or Decoration
$318.40 $398.00
This life-size mandarin ornament, handmade in Milan (Lombardy, Italy) during the 1960s/1970s, is crafted in Continental Silver (800/000) and hallmarked with the Italian Silversmith Code. Weighing 2.173 oz (61.6 g), it recalls a charming Italian holiday tradition, decorating Christmas trees with real citrus fruits as a symbol of abundance and warmth.
The mandarin’s presence in festive decor is rooted in Italian folklore, where fruits like oranges and mandarins were offered as tokens of good fortune. This piece captures that spirit with a refined silver interpretation, blending nostalgia and craftsmanship.
An elegant and meaningful collectible not only for the holiday season or as part of a year-round silver display. As with all vintage items, light signs of age and use may be present.
